Sound Quality Issue

If you received a notification that your Audiobook has a 'sound quality' issue, this means that members have reported that the file sounds distorted or incorrect when listening in the NetGalley Shelf app. This may include robotic or electronic sounds, fast or slow audio despite the playback speed, or audio that plays on top of already-playing audio. This will need to be fixed in the original file and the Audiobook reuploaded in your NetGalley client account.

For further guidelines about audiobooks on NetGalley, please see our Audiobook File Format and Size Limitations article.

If you have a content file that prevents the book from being made available in the catalog, accessed by members, or causes difficulty for the members who are reading the book, you will receive a notification from the NetGalley team that details the problem. You will see this notification on the title details page, and in an email sent to your "File Import Notices" email address (found in the Settings of your Publisher Account.)
