Incorrect File Name

If you received a notification that one of your books has an "Incorrect File Name", it's likely that the book title was incorrectly entered in the file's metadata. This causes approved NetGalley members to see the incorrect title in their reading device. In many cases, the book will appear as "Unknown", the ISBN number, or a draft title name rather than the real title, which can be confusing to our members.

To prevent this, ensure that the file has been correctly named in the original file and reupload it to your NetGalley client account.

If you have a content file that prevents the book from being made available in the catalog, accessed by members, or causes difficulty for the members who are reading the book, you will receive a notification from the NetGalley team that details the problem. You will see this notification on the title details page, and in an email sent to your "File Import Notices" email address (found in the Settings of your Publisher Account.)
