Template Language for Approved Requests

It’s a good idea to edit the message that members receive when you approve or decline their requests. You can customize by title, or use a default message for all titles. Here are some example Approval emails:

Example #1 - Default message

Dear Reader,

We make our upcoming titles available on NetGalley as a service to booksellers, librarians, professional book reviewers, and others in the trade. If you are simply an avid reader, we are happy to allow you access to a title but in return we ask two things. First, that if you have a chance to read the book you take the time to write a review. Post the review wherever you like—GoodReads, your local independent bookstore’s website, Facebook, Barnes and Noble, Amazon—anywhere. And of course, say whatever you feel about the book. Second, that you sign up for our email newsletter so we can let you know about forthcoming titles. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the book.
