When NetGalley clients add a title, NetGalley automatically creates two default hashtags for member reviews:
- #TitleName
- #NetGalley
NetGalley clients can also create a custom hashtag, which is a good idea if a book title contains a word or phrase that already exists as a common hashtag. This custom hashtag will replace the #TitleName hashtag. Clients can also opt to delete the #TitleName hashtag completely.
To edit a title hashtag, navigate to Title Details → Edit Marketing Information and input your desired hashtag. Make sure to avoid special characters like $ and &. (e.g. Somebody's Daughter = #SomebodysDaughter, Toil & Trouble = #ToilandTrouble)
