Nearly all of the titles on NetGalley have Digital Rights Management (DRM) file security applied. If you choose to apply DRM, we recommend the following default reading options:

- NetGalley Shelf App, Protected Galley, Expiring License (automatic access for approved members) Read more.
- Download, Protected Galley, Expiring License (can be read on any Adobe-supported device, requires an Adobe ID. Coming soon - Adobe DRM will be replaced with LCP) Read more.
- Kindle Reading Option enabled, if your titles are primarily text-based. Read more.
- Kindle Reading Option disabled, if your titles are primarily image-based (you can always select Kindle on a title-by-title basis from the Title Details page)
