User Role Definitions and Permissions

NetGalley offers three user roles for Subscription accounts. Each role provides a different level of access and permission.

Company Admin

A Company Admin has access to all imprints within the account and can:

View reporting across all imprints
Create and manage all user roles
Assign users to one or more imprints
Assign or change Imprint Managers
Fully deactivate users

There may be multiple Company Admins for a single account.

Imprint Users

An Imprint User has access only to the imprint(s) they are assigned, and can:

Manage titles
Review requests
Create Widgets
Access reports
Create Booktrovert Campaigns
Use other NetGalley tools for their assigned imprints.

Invite anyone who needs to sign in to NetGalley to manage titles or access reporting as an Imprint User. You can create as many Imprint Users as needed for your colleagues.

Imprint Manager

An Imprint Manager is an Imprint User with additional user management permissions for their assigned imprint.

In addition to the capabilities of an Imprint User, an Imprint Manager can:

Invite new Imprint Users
Manage existing Imprint Users
Revoke user access for their imprint

Each imprint must have one designated Imprint Manager. In the list of Users, the Imprint Manager is designated with a yellow star. imprint_manager_star.jpg

Each user's profile can be associated with multiple imprints as needed. When an user logs in, they will see a dashboard that gives them access to only the imprints assigned, or all imprints in the case of Company Admin.
