Book Advocates and Industry Professionals on NetGalley

NetGalley is designed for book advocates and industry professionals: reviewers, book trade professionals, librarians, booksellers, educators, journalists and members of the media. Before a NetGalley member can request a digital review copy, they are required to first fill out a Profile with their credentials—their organization, primary audience, contact information, category preferences, and a brief bio. Click to find out what you can see in a member's Profile.

In our Member Knowledge Base, we provide helpful hints for every profile to encourage members to provide information that's meaningful to you.

It is important to note that NetGalley does not prevent anyone from registering/requesting a book, since our clients have different criteria for accepting or declining requests. Member Profiles are intended to provide adequate information about the NetGalley member who is requesting the book. In addition to the information the member provides, NetGalley also provides comprehensive statistics about your history with that member, and overall statistics about the member's interactions across the site.
