Pending requests for archived books are automatically declined 14 days after the archive date. Since you cannot approve requests for archived titles, this regular clean-up task helps to improve the process for readers, who frequently inquire about pending requests for books. Members do not receive an email notification when auto-declined.
Remember: Requests must be managed at least 3 days before the Archive Date to ensure members have time to access the book.
