If your company is already producing ONIX, all you need to do is arrange for the ONIX feed to be pushed to your existing NetGalley ftp account, in the folder labeled “_INBOX”. This is a folder that will be used for metadata, images and content. Most publishers deliver their ONIX feed automatically on a regular basis, usually once a week.
Please note:
- To ensure that we can troubleshoot any problems with your ONIX, we also request that you deliver a test file to the top level (or home directory) of your ftp account. This is a one-time delivery only, for testing purposes.
- We would like to receive ONIX updates to existing titles, not just new titles. This will allow us to keep the NetGalley title record up-to-date.
- If it’s not possible to set up an automated full ONIX feed, you can also transfer individual ONIX files to your NetGalley “_INBOX” folder in your ftp account as they are available.
- Individual ONIX files should be no larger than 100MB
Please email us at concierge[at]netgalley.com if you would like us to resend the username and password for your ftp account.
